Top tips Billy Vennis-Ozanne – champion sailor At the age of 18, teenager Billy Vennis-Ozanne becomes championship sailor despite having had life-saving heart surgery as a child. Billy Vennis-Ozanne was born with a serious heart condition, and at just two weeks old had to have open-heart surgery at the Evelina London Children’s Hospital. The surgery was successful, and although (0) a fit and healthy 18-year-old, he had to be monitored closely at the hospital well into his teenage years.
