When I was eight years old, my parents moved from Austria to Canada with my two brothers and me. I was excited and nervous at the same time. Excited to go to a new country and to live in a big city, but nervous because I didn’t speak English. My first day at school was great fun. All the pupils were happy to have a new pupil from Europe in the class. I made friends and learned English very quickly. Then I started playing hockey, baseball and football like a typical Canadian boy.
