An international EU student conference is being held at a congress centre near your school. Participants from different countries aged 15–19 are gathering to discuss sustainable global development. The organisers of this meeting have invited GreenLife to give a presentation on environmental awareness at the beginning of the conference, and you have been chosen by your supervisor to give this presentation. Individual Long Turn (4–5 minutes): Give a short presentation to the international students. In your talk, you ■■ give reasons why environmental awareness is extremely relevant today ■■ comment on the likelihood of politicians coming up with satisfactory solutions ■■ discuss the tactics and strategies of some successful environmental campaigns (see attachment 1). Interaction (8–10 minutes): Later on the same day, there is a round-table discussion between a few environment experts. You have been invited to participate in it. One of the other participants has a lot of questions for you.
