During the Creating Inclusive Future Cities online conference I learned about your initiative to help business people transform their ideas into a successful business. As my partners and I have been active in different communities in Vienna, Austria, encouraging sustainable city life by creating village-like infrastructure in areas that can be walked within 15 minutes, we are convinced that our idea qualifies for your support scheme. We firmly believe that offering hands-on help for communities to become self-contained villages within a modern city is key to creating a greener and more inclusive urban environment. We make sure that grocery stores, medical service providers and restaurants are evenly distributed in the community, which should have a green space at its centre. So far, we have initiated several community meetings that have generated substantial interest. The heads of three districts have expressed their intention of working with us following our presentation of a successful project involving communal gardening. As regards reaching out to key stakeholders, marketing and implementing change, we would greatly benefit from your advisors’ support. This would give us the unique opportunity to establish our business professionally. Lacking experience in the financial aspects of founding a company, the ACT School’s input would be crucial for us.
