The first one (0) has been done for you. 29 A Facebook marriage A couple with the same name who found each other through social networking website Facebook are to get married. Kelly Katrina Hildebrandt, 20, was (0) when she put her name into the site and came across Kelly Carl Hildebrandt, 24. She sent the only other Kelly Hildebrandt, of Lubbock, Texas, a message, and they became friends. Ms Hildebrandt, a student from Miami, Florida, said she believed the event was ‘all God’s timing’. Her fiancé described her first message to him, in April last year, as reading: ‘Hi. We have the same name. Thought it was cool.’ He said: “I thought she was pretty cute.”Mr Hildebrandt admitted, however, that (1) they might be related. The pair of Kellys corresponded online for several weeks, but they (2) by phone, and then Kelly Carl made the brave move to fly across the States to meet her in person. Kelly Katrina’s mother came with her daughter to pick him up at the airport, after so many stories of love born on the internet going terribly wrong in person. Kelly Carl said he ‘fell head over heels’ in love after visiting her in Florida. Within months of their first contact, he (3) to transfer him to Florida, where she was finishing college. Eight months after they met online, they got engaged when Kelly Katrina found a diamond engagement ring her fiancé (4) on a beach. “I thought it was fun. I had no idea it would lead to this,”Mr Hildebrandt said. The couple plan to tie the knot in October and have confirmed that they do not plan to pass their first names on to their children. Family reunion via Facebook A mother has been reunited with her son 27 years after she believed he was kidnapped, after seeing him on Facebook. Avril Grube, 62, from Dorset, England, had custody of her son Gavin Paros after she broke up with her Hungarian husband in 1982. Gavin’s father, who died in 2006, was (5) but took him to Hungary in the 1980s, and Ms Grube had not seen him since. She and her sister Beryl Wilson, 59, spent 27 years trying to trace him, even contacting former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. Ms Wilson told us: “Gavin’s father said (6) and when he didn’t come back, we found out he had taken him to Hungary. My sister was devastated. I tried everything ... but no one helped us.” In March, Ms Wilson put her nephew’s name into an internet search engine and could not believe it when his Facebook profile came up. “I was so relieved. It took me many years, (7) ,”Ms Wilson said. He had not used the site for a while and did not respond to initial emails, but after Ms Wilson contacted his children, he emailed back. Ms Wilson said: “My sister phones him on Sundays and speaks to him through a translator, as he does not speak English. They have been really happy. She is just so happy!
