How to write a report A report aims to inform about or evaluate something in a factual way. Often, it is written for the management of a company to help make decisions. It contains suggestions and recommendations, based on evidence. Structure Headings can be introduction – findings – conclusion/recommendations. Language Use formal language e.g. passive structures.
