I love museums where you get hands-on experience. My best museum visit recently was a trip to Vienna, to an exhibition that teaches you what it feels like to be blind. It’s called ‘Dialogue in the Dark‘ and it has really given me a new world view. I found it scary at first not to be able to see anything, but it’s been such a great experience, I think everyone ought to go there. It would make a good school outing as you can combine it with a walk through Vienna’s inner city and see all the historic buildings. From: steffelber@zmail.com To: office@londonvisitor.co.uk Subject: Query about science exhibitions Dear London Visitor Team, My name is Stefan and I’m the 2nd year physics class representative at Boltzmann’s School in Lower Austria. A group of 10 of us will be visiting London in August this year. I saw the article on your website about the Science Museum’s “The Sun: Living with Our Star” exhibition and it looks fantastic. Could you tell me if there are any other exhibitions in London at this time that might appeal to our group? We’re especially interested in science and natural history as well as IT. I would also like to know if there are any group tickets available for this exhibition, or if we can buy tickets that will give us admission to several museums, especially those with exhibitions we might be interested in. Finally, we would be grateful if you could inform us about public transport links. We will be staying near Victoria station and we’d like to know how to get to the museums you recommend, and if there are weekly or 3-day tickets for London’s transport systems. Many thanks in advance, Faithfully, Stefan Felberbauer 176 K Key Semester check Nur zu Prüfzwecken – Eigentum des Verlags öbv
