United Nations peacekeeping is a special and different tool set up by the United Nations to help out countries having trouble with war and fighting. The idea is to try and make peace in these countries and to try and keep the peace for a long time. There is now more need for peace operations, and a lot of the time these operations are not that simple. In the last few years the UN have been so busy and had many big challenges. The organisation has worked so much to make itself stronger and to keep up with all the field operations.
