Im Text treten Wiederholungen (Hello!, the rabbit, the dog, the guinea pig …, Will you come for a walk with us?, Oh, yes!, …) auf, die S das Verständnis erleichtern. L kann an bestimmten Stellen Pausen machen, die S z. B. mit den Tiernamen füllen. L: I’m going to tell you a story now. The story is about a lot of pets. They are all going for a walk. You can say the names of the pets and help me to tell the story. The walk This is the rabbit and this is the dog. They are friends. The rabbit and the dog want to go for a walk. First they visit the guinea pig who lives in the garden. ‘Hello, guinea pig!’ ‘Will you come for a walk with us?’ ‘Oh, yes!’, the guinea pig answers. ‘Look, I have got a new friend, the hamster. Can he come with us, too?’ ‘Yes, he can. Hello, hamster!’ the rabbit and the dog say. ‘Hello!’, the hamster says. The four of them go to a yellow house. The cat lives in the yellow house. The rabbit rings the doorbell. The cat opens the door. ‘Hello, cat!’ the rabbit, the dog, the guinea pig and the hamster say. ‘Hello rabbit, hello dog, hello guinea pig!’ the cat says. ‘And who is this?’ The dog says: ‘This is the hamster, a new friend.’ ‘Will you come for a walk with us?’ ‘Oh yes!’, the cat says. So the rabbit, the dog, the guinea pig, the hamster and the cat go to the door. In the kitchen they see a small hole in the wall.
