Photosession! Get into groups of seven. It is time to take a picture at the conference. The photographer wants groups of people to get into position. One of you is the photographer. Tell the others to get into position. Only use words to tell the others how to stand or sit, don’t touch anybody, don’t gesture with your hands. Leaving a conversation in a polite way. Situation 1: I’m really  sorry  , but I’ve just had an  urgent  text from my husband, so I need to go outside and call him.  Hopefully  we’ll have a chance to talk later. Now practise leaving a conversation with a partner. One of you keeps on talking, the other one wants to leave the conversation being as polite as possible. Then change roles. What kinds of things are suitable for small talk during greeting, beyond the usual “How are you?”.
