A straightedge is proof of the evenness of areas with the light-gap method. 3. A limit gap gauge is proof of the diameter of shafts. 4. A vernier calliper is a tool to measure inside and outside dimensions. The dimension is determined by a measured value. The reading accuracy of the vernier calliper depends on the vernier scale. There are also digital ones, which have an even higher accuracy. 5. An external micrometer is used, if the measuring accuracy of a vernier calliper is not enough 6. A radius gauge is a tool to prove the radius of an object. 7. A dial gauge is an instrument used to accurately measure small distances and amplify them to make them more obvious. Dial gauges with a scale interval of 0.01mm usually have a measuring range of 1mm, 5mm and 10mm. Precision dial gauges measure more precisely. 8. A protractor has a reading accuracy of 1°.
