You have just come home from a four-week stay in Australia and want to encourage other young people to go there by starting a blog. In your blog post you should: point out why it is a great idea to spend some time abroad outline the advantages of staying with a host family convince your readers to choose Australia Write around 400 words. Give your blog post a title. A blog is an interactive webpage for publishing writing online. Anybody who has access to the internet can write, read and comment on blogs. In a blog, you provide or respond to information, ask for or give advice and motivate readers to take action using formal or semi-formal language, depending on the topic and your readership. You may also address your readers directly and invite comments. In your conclusion, you might want to let the readers know what you would like them to do: comment on your blog post or take action, depending on your post. Then you may agree or disagree with the writer, criticise the writer’s arguments, give or follow advice, make suggestions, or give your readers something to think about.
