Art is the human creative skill and imagination that creates something beautiful or meaningful, or expresses important ideas or feelings. Art has many forms, such as the visual arts (for example, (0) or sculpture), music, dance and literature. The visual arts include a wide range of (1) disciplines, traditionally subdivided into the fine arts – drawing, painting, sculpture – and contemporary (2) , which includes more modern developments, such as collage, film/video and photography, computer graphics, graffiti or land art. Music and dance are part of the performing arts. Music works through the (3) of various musical instruments or the human voice, dance through the movement of the human body. Music can be organised compositions, such as in classical (4) , it can be based on improvisations, such as jazz, or can merge (5) music with more modern forms of musical expression (world music). What is considered music may differ from culture to (6) , yet everywhere it plays a key role in religious and other rituals such as marriage. Literature is the term used to describe (7) and sometimes spoken material and refers to works of the creative imagination, including poetry, (8) , fiction, non-fiction, journalism, and in some instances, song.
