Working with words What do you do with new words and phrases? a) There are many ways to study vocabulary. Here are some tips and tricks how to practise and remember new English words. 1. w : Draw your own pictures of the words you want to remember and write the words in English. Put up the drawings in your room so you see them every day. 2. h : If you aren’t good at drawing, you can also cut out pictures from newspapers or magazines. You can also find nice pictures on the internet and print them out. Use pictures to work with new words and phrases. 3. + d : Use your hands and your voice; for example: point at the body part and say the word. 4. + : Never forget that practice makes perfect. Try to practise as often as possible, but not for too long.
