Blossom: He’s worried about his acting career. He really needs a new Juliet … Deva: I saw you give him something, what was it? Blossom: Oh, just a nut ’n granola bar. He was hungry as usual. Deva: Ah, that’s so sweet of you, Blossom. Mr G.: (comes centre stage) Okay, cast! Places! Let’s get the balcony scene right this time! Everyone takes their places. Mr G.: So, Romeo has climbed up to Juliet’s balcony window in the dark. The lovers are about to have their first kiss. Juliet says her famous goodnight lines – then he kisses her. Deva: (whispers to Blossom, covering her eyes) Eee! I can’t watch! Blossom: Trust me, Deva, it’s going to be okay. Deva: How can you say that …? Mr G.: Ross, you can’t deliver Shakespeare’s fine lines with your mouth full of nut ’n granola … Ross: Sorry, sir! (he swallows the last bit of the bar) Deva: Huh! Blossom …! I think I know what you’ve done! Ross: Ah Juliet! Jade: Good night, good night, Parting is such sweet sorrow/ that I shall say good night till it be morrow! Mr G.: (directing) Go in for the kiss!
