Scene 1: In the crown room Listening Listen to scene 1 of the play. TOM, SUZY, AISHA and the rest of the CLASS 7B as well as their TEACHER are visiting King Aled’s Castle. They meet their GUIDE and the guide’s dog, SPOTTY. Guide: Welcome to Castle Aled, children. I will be your guide today. Here we are in the crown room of the castle. Class: Oh, but where’s the crown? Guide: (very sad) I’m sorry, but Castle Aled doesn’t have a crown any longer. Class: No crown? Really? Guide: No, thieves broke in and stole it last night. Teacher and class: How terrible! /Oh my God! /Oh no! / That’s terrible! Guide: It disappeared from this locked cabinet overnight, as if by magic! But only I know the secret combination.
