Agree on a list. burglary faking your parents’ signature vandalism riots being cruel to animals busking writing graffiti driving a car /moped without a driving licence mugging cheating at an exam robbery shoplifting hooliganism begging demonstrations hacking into computers gang warfare leaving a restaurant / café without paying squatting Compare your lists in class. Do you have the same? Do you think any activities could (or should) be controlled by surveillance cameras? Are any a particular problem where you live? Which words in the box have a different verb form? Is there a noun for the people who do these activities? Examples: mugging mug mugger; writing graffiti write graffiti graffiti artist Work alone. Choose ten activities from the box. Then, on a scale from one to ten, rank them for how ‘bad’ they are, with number ten being the worst. Present your ideas to the rest of the class.
