Make Your Way 5, Schulbuch mit Audio-CD und CD-ROM

Listen to three people talking about which animal they would most like to be if they were not human beings. 9 Now take a minute to think about which animal you would like to be if you had the choice. Why would you like to be this animaI? Write your name, the animal, and your reason on a slip of paper. 10 Look at the picture of the leopard. With a partner, write down all the words (nouns, verbs, adjectives) you associate with this animal. 12 Get together in groups of five around a desk. Put the slip of paper face down in front of you so that nobody can see what is written on it. • Then, look around and try to guess which animals the other members of the group would choose to be and why. • Choose one member of the group. Each of you should say which animaI you think he/she has chosen and why. • When all four have said what they think, the student chosen should read out what is on his/her slip of paper. 11 Listen to the recording of this poem. 13 Animal Why First person Second person Third person Leopard Gentle hunter His tail plays on the ground While he crushes the skull.
